Education has such a powerful impact on our society. I have been a part of academic education for over 30 years including ten years as a teacher, a school improvement consultant at the state department level and over 20 years in educational sales. My greatest desire and joy is to listen to needs in the classroom and through consultative selling present solutions that meet those needs. What a privilege to impact student learning.I have delivered presentations, workshops and keynote speeches in forty-seven states over the years. My strengths lie in my ability to share solutions in a way that is motivating, entertaining and trustworthy because it comes from a heart of sincerity and honesty.

  I serve as the Associate Vice President of Content and Implementation for Curriculum Associates. In this role, I travel across the nation delivering motivational talks and presentations for sales meetings, conferences, and workshops. Additionally, I help lead messaging and strategies. Prior to coming to Curriculum Associates, I held a similar position with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt serving both as a National Director of Content Specialists and National Director of Presentation Development. I currently lives in eastern North Carolina with his my wife of 30 years, Blair and our four children – Ridge, Kennedy, Connelly and Kai. I enjoy traveling with family, cooking and enjoying a round of golf whenever my schedule allows. Fun Facts: Learned his alphabet backwards before forwards. I do not know how but to this day I still prefer to recite it backwards. I am an avid supporter of community theater and have had roles in productions of Grease, Anything Goes, Mary Poppins and Fiddler on the Roof
