CurrentEmploy focus, attention to detail, and reliability to oversee daily operations of two food grade warehouse facilities which total a 685K square feet space; direct operations for raw and finished goods based on FIFO and JIT requirements for receiving, storage, inventory, picking, packaging, and shipments. Supervise the $15M inventory and 5K+ SKUs and 2nd shift operations, which included leading five supervisors, three leads, and 25-35 associates. Assist with the maintenance of the building and equipment. Create SOPs and pair with each client to stay informed. Team up with HR and owners to develop a safety program; hold monthly safety meetings and site safety walkthroughs to ensure conditions for associates. Remain involved in developing and negotiating contracts with customers. Maintain close relationships with clients to understand needs and formulate solutions. Key Accomplishments: Managed 17 client products, including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Honda Trading, Mitsui USA, Bare Essentials, Blackhive Foods, and MARS Petcare. Strategically governed inventory, cycle counting, physicals, and reporting results to clients, which improved accuracy at 99.8% for all 17 clients. Yielded increases in clients and billing revenue for $1M+ in 2013. Created the Packaging Department and process for Honda Trading automobile parts. Developed specs and tactfully negotiated prices with suppliers to generate $250K+ in packaging revenue for 2013. Contributed to the facility obtaining the CTPAT certification, which was rare for 3PL’s to have this distinction. Co-writer of the HACCP Program for the facility and successfully coordinated the past three AIB audits for the facility. Received a certification as a Food Defense Coordinator. Conduct training classes with management and associates to elevate productivity and professionalism, as well as support talent acquisition and termination processes.
