I have significant experience in successful systems implementation in three Councils as well as system and reporting improvements in two other Councils. I managed the Finance One implementation at Pittwater Council where in the following year Pittwater was the first Council to lodge its Annual Financial reports in the State, no other Council has achieved that. Additionally I have ensured that all forms of reporting and budgetting such as Asset Managment Plans, Corporate Management Plans and Operational Reporting were provided from the one source. I developed Asset Management datasets that provided information on how funds were spent in terms of operatioms, maintenance, capital renewal, capital. I have excellent relationship skills understanding the needs of the political side of Councils and the need to provide prudent advice and guidance.I have experience with various Business Intelligence products including MES (BIS), Chameleon and Magiq Reporting.I have also worked for software companies and ran my own consulting business. These experiences have grown my views and provided a better insight in how to manage varying issues as they arise.
