Involved in every aspect of the business from marketing, sourcing customers, sales, quoting, purchasing, executing orders, invoicing, delivering, collection of debt, full financial function and sorting out any problems when they arrive.

My official title was financial manager, but due to the nature and size of the business (17 employees of which 14 were technical, in sales and production) it was more like a general management position, comprising of the following aspects of the business, full financial, administrative, human resources, IT, basically all aspects of the business with the exception of sales and technical.Herewith is a brief description of my daily duties, which was very hands on and solely performed by myself- Full financial function- All EFT payments and management of internet banking function- Over see creditors and debtors and sorting out queries when and where they arose- Responsible for all statutory requirements and payments- Forex, from dealing with the dealing room to completion of the necessary forms- Costings- Payroll and human resource function - Cash book function including data capture- Management accounts- Preparation of financial statements, liasing with auditors etc- Problem solving ranging from IT problems to staff matters- Where ever I was needed I rolled up my sleeves and took the bull by the horns
