Design/Architecture/Planning/Development/Testing/DeploymentDeveloped an in-house application for collecting a very large amount of manually entered and as well as menu selected data and for collecting and tracking of internal and distributor marketing information and exporting highly formatted, very dynamic Excel spreadsheets utilizing HTML/JS/JSON/JQuery and PHP as well as OOPS techniques. This application required a great deal of dynamic interdependent page elements, dependencies, repeater sections as well as element formatting and validating. It also required creation of complex, highly formatted Excel spreadsheets that weren’t in a typical “tabular” format but rather in a list format with every label and field unique. It also required some highly dynamic pages where the content was completely interdependent on the user’s selections then dynamic creation of the corresponding spreadsheets based on the final element content of the dynamic pages. Additionally, this was to be run only on standalone, non-server systems with minimal “installation and setup” requirements thus limiting the tools that could be used such as frameworks and add-ons thereby contributing to the need for a higher level of creative “hand coded” customization as opposed to relying on convenient tools.

Developing extremely complex and very dynamic mortgage review applications for the mortgage industry utilizing PHP, HTML, JS, SQL, XUL, SVN, JIRA, AGILE, MVC.Developing and maintaining mortgage business applications used in mortgage loan “due diligence” services and in review and analysis of existing problem mortgages in an extremely secure environment working with very sensitive client data. Allonhill’s 140+ member Development Department was a fast paced environment working on numerous parallel projects simultaneously. I quickly rose to lead 3-4 developers on the Foreclosure Review Project which was a large complex application with a great deal of moving parts both on the front and back end. We made extensive use of PHP, JS, MySQL, JSON, JQuery, VBA and more including XUL (MVC) UI framework by Mozilla and managed it with SVN and Jira. I specialized in the back-end development where my passion lies.While at Allonhill I developed tools, standards and libraries with an Agile approach and an MVC Framework and used mentoring and documentation to dramatically decrease our development time and greatly decreased our QA failure rate thereby greatly improving our efficiency and greatly improving the client’s experience and confidence in the product. I also applied optimizing techniques in the software and the SQL to dramatically increase the performance and decrease the time required for hundreds of mortgage review analysts to complete their work in reviewing millions of loans.
