As General Manager I was responsible for all aspects of the business. From financial and cost efficiencies to Human Resources Support, marketing, operations, body and paint shop, detail shop, mechanic shop, building maintenance, environmental and safety as well as employee welfare, customer care and community involvement. In addition I was accountable for annual budgets, P & L, staff hiring and terminations. Staff development and motivation and performance evaluations as well as employee counseling as needed. I had a management staff of 28 along with a total of 360 employees.

I was in charge of the daily operations, sale day operations including vehicle condition reports, check in vehicles, security, all reconditioning aspects including detail, body and paint and mechanical shop. Accountable for financials for the shops and daily operations. Strong customer involvement goal of maintaining respectable relationships with current customers in an effort to increase business development and overall exceed customer's expectations.

As Reconditioning Manager I was in charge of all repair shops including a detail shop that detailed 60,000 cars a year. A paint and body shop that repaired 10,000 cars a year and a mechanic shop that tripled in size under my management. I was responsible for all quality control and timeliness for completion of these repairs. Financial responsibility for all aspects of these shops. Hiring of all employees for this department.Accomplishments-In 2004 the City of Modesto named my auction "Employer of the Year" for our work in hiring a diverse workforce.-In 2005 my auction was recognized as "Auction of the Year" for community and charity involvement-With in house fundraising we generously donated over $100,000.00 to the Tracy Hospital Association, the DARE Program and CPR for kids.-In 2002 I successfully moved the auction from Fremont to Tracy. The relocation was under budget. My input on the design of the new facility reduced our employee count from 440 to the current count of 360. This also included 60% increase of customers and a 25% increase in cars sold. End result was doubling the bottom line of profitability.
