Much of my work relates to improving and developing system to ensure regulatory compliance and ensuring the integrity of the electrical systems/equipment relating to this.Mentoring of technicians and carrying out competency assessments.Auditing / inspection of offshore platform electrical systems including safe systems of work applicable to all those working with electricity.Electrical Design and production of work packs to assist with project implementation.Issue of technical Notices and electrical related safety alerts.Production of electrical maintenance routines (PMTs)Provision of technical support to the technician community, other discipline engineers and management.Previous experience with Perenco includes also working as the Responsible Electrical Person on the Compression platform in the Leman field with the responsibility of managing all electrical work. Involved in multiple roles which included Design, Switchboard protection testing, Relief Cover Electrical Technician Officer on Cable layers, Frontline maintenance of power generation system, Project Supervision, Water treatment and sewage plant maintenance and repair, road tunnel electrical system maintenance and repair.

Soutern North Sea

Contracted through a number of companies - in the earlier part of this period as an electrical technician/ operator on a manned production platforms with full dehydration facilities duties included frontline and routine maintenace of all electrical systems including fire and gas and instrumentation. Later in this period I worked as an Offshore Installation Manager on these installations.

Falkland Islands

Attached to the Ministry of Defence to manage a 650 bed accommodation barge of mixed military and civilian personnel providing catering, power and water generation (RO). Reporting to the FI senior naval officer. Additional exporting power and water to the adjacent military hospital. The role involved also providing military - civilian liasion.
