Over achieved sales goal by 4%, and reduced SG&A expense by 5%.• Negotiated long term contracts with hospitals, IHNs, Government, and GPOs, with a combined total annual value of $100 million. Signed, for new business, contracts worth $6.3 Ml annually.• Led 5 Regional Business Managers and 45 Account Managers, exceeding our committed Glucose signed contract goal of $3 million by $3.2 million in annual new business in 2013.• Worked collaboratively with marketing to develop innovative sales and marketing tactics that allowed us to maintain our existing customer base, during major product challenges, until new product was approved.• Retained 100% of base business in 2012 in a mature Hospital Blood Glucose market that had product issues.• Ensured adherence to company policies and procedures, resulting in increased organizational excellence and no internal regulatory violation.

Aligned with Marketing, other key Business Areas within Roche, and our Distribution Partners to collaboratively develop strategies and tactics to sale effectively into the Point of Care Market. Managed a National Account team comprised of 6 National Account Managers, and a small chemistry Physician Office Laboratory group of 11 Account Specialist lead by a National Sales Manager, focused on increasing revenue for our Anti Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry and Immunochemistry products through a newly created distribution sales strategy.• Championed the development and execution of the organization’s first distribution strategy that created greater internal operational efficiency, increased sales reach and frequency, within our targeted customer segment, and allowed us to increase annual revenue by $13 million for our Anti Coagulation Monitoring product through the distribution channel.• Increased market share greater than 10% within the first year of implementing the new distribution strategy. Through collaboration with senior leadership, key national Med-Surgical distributors, and my National Account Management (NAM) team, we convinced the organization to double resource investment in NAM headcount and other support areas in order to enhance our selling efforts through distribution.• Accepted the Bill Lister Award (2006) for exhibiting the highest leadership standards within the Point of Care division.
