As the Accounts Manager for the European division, I support the Financial Controller in managing and optimizing financial operations across the region. My key responsibilities and contributions include:System Transition Assistance: Played a key role in supporting the Financial Controller during the successful transition from our old accounting software to a new, more efficient system following the acquisition of Titan Solutions in late 2022/early 2023. Assisted in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the transition went smoothly with minimal disruption to daily operations.Financial Reporting Support: Worked closely with the Financial Controller in preparing detailed financial reports and analyses, providing insights that supported strategic decision-making and enhanced financial transparency across the division.Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisted in the development and management of budgets for the European division, contributing to the alignment of financial goals with overall corporate strategy, and ensuring key financial targets were met.Audit Preparation & Compliance: Supported audit preparations by ensuring proper documentation and assisting in the implementation of controls to meet European accounting regulations, helping ensure smooth internal and external audits.Process Improvement Initiatives: Collaborated with the Financial Controller to identify and implement process improvements that streamlined accounting workflows, reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.In this role, I have been able to contribute meaningfully to the financial stability and growth of the company while supporting major projects and the ongoing success of the division.
