Subject matter expert (SME) responsible for developing and implementing nuclear response policy and Emergency Action Plans for 6 Air Force Wings. Developed and implemented budget, finance, procurement, personnel, logistics, travel, and office procedures for the Air Force Nuclear Response Task Force. Advises senior management on deviations, concerns or non-conformance in policies and presents policy and procedure changes to eliminate hazards. Developed, coordinated, obtained approval, of operational plans and procedures for implementation of Air Force Global Strike Command. Worked closely with the DHS, OSD, Department of Energy (DOE), FBI, FEMA, DoD agencies including NORTHCOM, the Defense Threat reduction Agency (DTRA), state and local law enforcement, and various first responders to develop comprehensive recovery plans in the event of nuclear incident/accident. Conducted quality staff visits to units to ensure nuclear accident/incident response posture is maintained that will enable effective response and ensure mission accomplishment.

Responsible for the training, exercise development, testing, maintaining and deployment of Air Force Space Command’s Nuclear Response Task Force. Forge working relationships with other DoD agencies including the Defense Threat reduction Agency (DTRA), the Department of Energy (DOE), FBI, FEMA, state and local law enforcement, and various first responders to deter the use of weapons of mass destruction against U.S. or allied forces. Train Incident Commanders a full spectrum of responses and capabilities to counter aggression. Anticipate and plan training to meet the specialized needs of the response task force. Conduct training and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the training.

Prepared and presented briefings to senior management. Coordinated with internal and external agencies to develop detailed instructions including certification and accreditation documentation, privileged user guides, risk management matrix, security architecture, system security plan and training guides.
