  Career Flight Attendant. Have worked for Mainline commercial carriers, Charter, Corporate, Military and Regional. Many years of experience with international flying. Have worked in the inflight training department, as a recruiter as well as being qualified as a lead Flight Attendant/Purser. Selected as a check Flight Attendant doing check rides and initial operating experience flights as to ensure that flight attendant trainees are fully trained and can demonstrate, with proficiency, all necessary and required safety related duties as mandated by the FAA, as well as adherence to all policies and procedures that are set forth by the airline. As a flight attendant, and lead purser, our top priority is the safety of our passengers and the professionalism and knowledge of each crew member. Every passenger is our guest and they rely on our training and knowledge of our occupation, but they also look to us for a welcoming and pleasant demeanor from boarding to deplaning, and the entire time in between.The best thing that I have learned is to always remember that were it not for our passengers, we wouldn't have this FANTASTIC & WONDERFUL Career! I have received many complimentary letters from my passengers, which I am truly grateful for, however... I'm only doing my job, a job I truly love! I've received awards of recognition from the inflight department, even glowing letters from my crew! One thing that I was especially proud of is when I was interviewed and selected for, was to be a mentor for the newest flight attendant graduates to come out on the line. It was so rewarding to be able to help them adjust to their new career, to answer any questions they had, and even getting calls at all hours, day or night, we were there to help them. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that we were able to take away some of the anxiety and stress for them. This career isn't always the easiest one to have, being away from family and missing events, but I love it. and am blessed!
