Created and implemented action plans which reduced "at risk" assets and increased overall returns.-Restructured $159MM in mortgage loans.-Acquired $153MM of assets through foreclosure and settlements.-Structured exit strategies, including agreements which incentivized borrowers to market or refinance complex properties, generating $72MM in payoffs, and $10MM in gains.-Implemented marketing programs on $175MM of assets and $90MM of mortgage loan and property sales.

Partnered with senior investment officers in managing Aetna's most complex and problematic mortgage loans, providing analytical and negotiation support in restructuring over $500MM of "at risk" mortgage loans.-Provided comprehensive financial and written evaluations of over 60 projects and $750MM in real estate including office, industrial, retail, and apartment projects.-Generated and implemented strategic action plans, mitigating the risk of future loss and maximizing total return.-Provided analysis and negotiation support for new lease transactions, lease buyouts, and land acquisitions.

Partnered with senior investment officers in evaluating and managing a $290MM equity portfolio.-Analyzed and formulated strategies including (i) initial assessment and valuation, (ii) business plan development, (iii) implementation of leasing and capital programs, and (iv) marketing and sales.-Prepared hold and sell recommendations for new foreclosed assets.-Helped facilitate the selection and negotiations of management and leasing contracts.
