Dr. Gary Pack has more than 40 years of experience in education, as a teacher, principal, administrator, and school construction consultant. He served as superintendent of the Princeton City School District in Cincinnati and as a member of the Board of Directors for The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences. He has previously served as superintendent for the Garfield Re-2 School District in Rifle, Colorado; the Blount County Schools in Maryville, Tennessee; and Simpson County Schools in Franklin, Kentucky. He served as the President of The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2014-2018 and as interim president of Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska from 2021-2023. During his career, Dr. Pack has taught in several higher education institutions, including Western Kentucky University, Tennessee Tech University, Tusculum College, University of Colorado at Boulder and, most recently, the University of Cincinnati, where he trained future principals and superintendents in the State of Ohio licensure and certification program.Dr. Pack completed his bachelor’s degree in history, sociology and psychology and his master’s degree in educational administration at Morehead State University. He completed his doctorate in educational administration and organizational systems at the University of Louisville. He is a member of the American Association of School Administrators and the National School Boards Association.Dr. Pack has directly supervised over $600 million in school construction and capital projects the past 20 years including, most recently, the 550,000 sq. ft. $135 million Princeton City School District middle, high school, and shared facilities project in Cincinnati, Ohio. This project was on budget over a three-year construction process and used self-insured workman’s compensation, zero budgeting, advanced bidding, and multiple contracts to ensure an on-time, on-budget final result.
