I have been with Kent Police since 2007, serving as a Police Community Support Officer and Police Officer, and I currently hold a position as a Police Staff member, coordinating efforts within the Kent and Medway Violence Reduction Unit. I am the team's lead on Communications, helping to reach the community through using technology such as our new website and social media channels. Throughout my career, I have primarily focused on community safety and collaboration with partner agencies. I have worked closely with district councils, Early Help services, Social Workers, Youth Justice Workers, and various charities. My efforts have been dedicated to supporting young people in the community, finding ways to enhance safety, and providing them with the best opportunities for a positive future.Prior to joining the police force, I worked in various roles within the travel and retail industries. My background includes experience working onboard cross-channel ferries and completing management training with leading retail companies. I have developed skills in administration, customer service, stock management, team leadership, and project implementation and management.I have recently gained a personal interest in photography, which I am developing by learning how to best use the hardware in the environment as well as using photography software for the first time.
