Responsible to achieve the organisations’ charitable aims through the effective planning, implementation, management and development of all aspects of operational strategy and service delivery. This includes responsibility for fundraising and income generation. Responsible for the recruitment, co-ordination, management and development of volunteers, together with responsibility for day to day management of finance and budgeting. I bring extensive experience of supporting people with HIV, having been actively involved professionally and personally over three decades. Appointed to the post of Service Manager in 2015, I founded Lunch Positive in 2009, and had previously volunteered for eleven years in local HIV services.At Lunch Positive I lead a large team of volunteers involved in an extensive range of roles including the delivery of the HIV Lunch Club, community fundraising, community engagement, project management, administration, and service development. The volunteer team is diverse, cohesive, highly motivated, and performs highly to ensure the achievement of outcomes for service users and the charity’s aims.

Representing the Brighton & Hove Voluntary & Community Sector at a city wide strategic level. The role has special responsibilities to represent the needs of people with HIV and HIV organisations. A key element of this role is representing and involving the local voluntary sector as part of the HIV Fast track Cities Task Force (led by Brighton & Hove City Council).

Lead voluntary role in preparing food. providing hospitality and facilitating peer support for service users who attended the 'drop in' at this HIV charity. This role involved working with other volunteers who required training, support and development in their roles.

Provided support, advice and head office liaison to the management of one store in Belfast, Northern Ireland.Directly managed and supported new business development including refurbishment, installation, sales offer, management control systems and human resources in new catering businesses throughout three regions.
