Mr. Patel has 37 years of experience in the design, electrical engineering, analysis, inspection, economic evaluation, rehabilitation, and construction support of water resource and power projects. He has been responsible for all phases of project execution plan, from preparing contract documents through final design and start-up. His responsibilities have included: electrical power analyses for short-circuits, voltage drops, relay coordination and equipment sizing; preparation of bid documents, evaluation of bids and assisting owners during awards of major electrical equipment; assisting owners on the design, operations and maintenance of assets comply with the applicable NERC TPL, FAC, PRC, CIP, MOD and COM Standards; review of manufacture’s submittals and witness of Factory Acceptance Tests; preparing final design and assisting Contractors during construction; and performing startup and commissioning. His experience includes large, medium, and small-scale hydroelectric projects.
