I have been professionally engaged in industrial design, research and development,prototyping and fabrication since 1980.Industrial Design clients have included Apple Computers, IBM, Nike, The North Face, Bianchi,Motorola, Patagonia and many others.I've completed transportation design and prototypes for General Motors, Volkswagen, Renaultand Jeep/Chrysler and have built a number of boats, motorcycles and aircraft formanufacturers and movie studios, most recently two F-5 fighter jet adaptations for "The GreenLantern", called one of the worst movies of 2011 by Peter Travers of Rolling Stone.I hold five patents assigned to firms including Motorola, Patagonia and Bianchi involving novelprocesses for the manufacture of fabric structures including radio-frequency weldingtechnology as well as patents for devices in the medical and toy fields. This experienceenables me to consider intellectual property opportunities that present themselves during aproject and to avoid conflicts with prior art.Some of the most internationally acclaimed architects in the US have been among my clientsincluding Eric Owen Moss, Frank Gehry, Thom Maine and Diller Scofidio + Renfro as well asinternational engineering firms like Buro Happold and Arup.

All very technical, but I also have fabricated sculpture and unusual architectural elements for some very prominent artists and architects for whom my greatest asset is the ability to understand a vision that can be difficult to articulate and integrate that with broad technical experience to manifest the artist's vision.
