Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder; Chair of Board of DirectorsEstablished and Oversaw PacificGMP, a highly successful CDMO, for its entire run (two years of development, 10 years operation) through the sale of the company to Abzena., Inc. in September of 2015• Formed the Corporation, its Board of Directors, Management and Operational Teams.• Obtained seed funding to establish PacificGMP.• Oversaw the development and build-out of PacificGMP’s initial manufacturing facility in San Diego, California, including the leasing, construction, equipping and staffing for its start -up operation.• Oversaw validation of Facility, Equipment, IT and Personnel Systems.• Oversaw GMP Campaigns.• Oversaw all Marketing and Client Outreach.• Established key collaborations with other organizations in the Biologics space (Including GE Healthcare, Life Technologies, Becton Dickinson, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and others).• Obtained further private equity investment enabling expansion of operations to ultimately 24,000 square feet and 6 integrated clean room GMP manufacturing suites.• Oversaw Business Development, Technical, Scientific, Facility and Operations, Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Finance Teams.• Oversaw all contracting, key vendor relationships, Human Resources and employment and finances.• Chair of and Conduit for Board of Directors.• Managed Leadership Teams.• Oversaw all aspects of the performance of development and manufacturing of over 40 distinct biologics for use in Phase I and Phase II human clinical trials. • Oversaw performance of over 400 distinct client projects.• Negotiated leases and expansion leases of Manufacturing Facility.• Managed all aspects of the company through its sale.• Ensured a smooth transition to new ownership post sale.• Lead M & A effort resulting in the sale of PacificGMP to Abzena in September 2015.
