My Sunday school teacher, Harvey Gardner @ First Baptist Church in Hendersonville sold me a life Insurance policy when my first son, Michael, was born. Harvey asked me if I was happy working at JC Penney. Harvey, asked me if I was happy working with JC Penny and planned to retire with them. I said “no” and he asked “ Do you think you could work with folks like I did with you and your Family?” He sparked my interest, so over the next 3 months I spent my days off at his office, and as they say ”the rest is history”Over the past 40 years as an Insurance Agent, the only thing different I have to offer is SERVICE. I have built my business using the philosophy “Service then Reward”. This is one of the principals I took from the “LEAD THE FIELD” program by Earl Nightingale.Too many sales people try to make the most money they can, as fast as they can, and often put themselves first and take advantage of the customer for their own benefit.
