Project and Contract Management in the Integrated Water Division of the Capital Regional District. Responsibilities include the creation of RFQs and RFPs for projects as defined in the annual capital project plans, and includes the administration of sewer and water capital and maintenance projects, from single DO systems to total treatment plant roof replacement and impressed current cathodic protection systems of steel marine outfalls within the CRD. Formerly Commission liaison with small water and sewer service areas (Local Services) on Salt Spring Island, Southern Gulf Islands and remote areas of the Capital Regional District.

City Of Victoria

Design, layout and field inspection of City owned infrastructure. CCTV technician: defined underground maintenance and repair/replacement capital projects. Later held position of Environmental Officer: developed and implimentation of enforcement of storm water Codes of Practice and Bylaws. Performed infrastructure asset condition evaluation and engineering studies (SAMPS) and cross connection control investigations. City of Victoria liaison with Provincial (MOE) and Federal (DFO & TC) regulators regarding sewer overflows, deleterious spills to the marine and fresh water receiving environment and contaminated sites issues. Wrote, issued, awarded and administered first contracted services for underground CCTV (cleaning and camera), trenchless lining (full length and point repairs) and contracted compliance services in the City, and I have the scars to show for it.

District Of Coquitlam (Before It Became A City)

Contract administration and field inspection of all civil works including underground, roads and subdivision development. Performed all survey layout, pickup and as-built functions to all projects.Administered unit price CCDC contracts, issuing payments, change orders and all related administrative duties to final completion of the works. Projects ranged from a single panel of sidewalk to 500 lot subdivisions and ravine stabilization projects.
