Driving innovation with the use of cloud services for application development, software services, security solutions and infrastructure hosting, steadily reducing dependencies on physical data centers and hardware. Migrated over 95% of legacy on premise infrastructure and business applications consisting of over 300 servers and over 100 terabytes of data from local SAN arrays to cloud utilizing Office 365, Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace Enterprise and various SaaS providers.Lead contributor on both the design and construction boards responsible for the complete redesign of the physical network architecture for wired and wireless networks. This included core and edge switching, firewalls and perimeter security switching (DMZ) network vlans and segmentation of the same for isolating key traffic types like telecom and teleconference systems from security and systems monitoring traffic, ect. I was also responsible for the complete refresh of all our overseas office networks focusing on simplifying the architecture to support remote administration and remote work capabilities.Responsible for defining and delivering the overall IT strategy for The Ford Foundation’s U.S. headquarters and overseas locations. This role oversees all infrastructure services including security, network, compute, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, cloud platforms, mobility solutions, IP telephony and collaboration, audio visual solutions and desktop computing and support.Lead the Foundation’s Information Security and Cyber defense programs. Implemented an adaptive security model to scale more easily with our IT cloud strategy. Services such as CrowdStrike and Reliaquest make up a portion of that model as well as tools to assess vendor security practices the foundation considers partnering with.
