Naval Station Norfolk, Va

Conducted specialized trainiing for personnel leaving the military, including pre-separation counseling; transition management, military occupational cross-walk training and higher education planning. Provided information needed by service members to successfully transition from the military to the next phase of their lives. Coordinated with TAP administrative and education teams to ensure attendance and participation databases were kept current. Worked with dozens of transitioning military members to ensure all Capstone requirements were successfully completed prior to separation or retirement from active duty

Development and management of contract credit and traditional educational programs aimed at the corporate and military markets.

Develop and implement successful strategies for building long-term relationships with the armed forces community, enhancing their awareness of the dynamic educational opportunities offered by Southern New Hampshire University, as a foundation for increasing military student enrollments.

Directed field data collection operations in a seven-county region of eastern Virginia, directing a staff of more than 120 enumerators and supervisory personnel. Efforts were instrumental in updating the Census Data base for the area, ensuring accuracy for the 2010 census effort.

Civilian intelligence analyst specializing in adversary deception efforts in the Middle East region. Researched and authored more than 30 papers and studies on that topic for customers at the national and operational levels.

Created and ran small start-up firm providing customized, multi-media content to print and broadcast outlets on U.S. military operations and the Global War on Terror. Work appeared on various Clear Channel radio stations and in such newspapers as the Memphis (TN) Commercial Appeal

Performed and supervised intelligence analysis, dissemination and presentation assignments at unit and command levels; one of the first intel officers to graduate from the USAF Weapons School (1988). Served as combat aircrew member, flight instructor and flight examiner in unique battle management unit (1992-1995), logging more than 300 hours of combat and combat support time over Bosnia, Haiti and the Middle East.
