After completing my apprenticeship, I was promoted to UI Developer, working with new and existing builds, utilising a variety of coding disciplines, frameworks and Content Management Systems. In this role I have accomplished:• Creating full templates and/or individual components for internal/external libraries, flat builds, or with the intention of being integrated in to CMSs such as Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager or Wordpress• Meeting WCAG accessibility guidelines for clients with screenreaders, keyboard users etc.• Building and maintaining complete sites for charitable organizations as part of the company’s charitable drive• Acquiring an understanding of how to use various CMSs, from a UI perspective, through mass content migration operations• Ad-hoc bug fixing for any project, as required• Taking a keen interest in web animations and their usage to enhance user experience• Collaborating with colleagues to develop internal skills and experiment with new technologies for fun side projects, with a view of furthering them in to our daily usage, if deemed appropriate• Working closely on-site with clients to deliver project support in high-pressured, time-sensitive environments. I have worked on-site with clients in the UK, in London and Leeds, and internationally, in Australia, Hong Kong and Canada
