NYSDOL UISIM Project - As a Consultant, Gary validates deliverables against best practices in system engineering and verifies they meet client requirements by establishing standards against which deliverables will be measured, understanding the process used to create the deliverables, reviewing deliverables against established standards, and identifying gaps and root causes. He provides Quality Assurance (QA) services for baseline assessments and the ongoing status of the project, including identifying risks and issues and recommending mitigation strategies. Gary also participates in gap analysis meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the future system meets client needs. He reviews both technical and business documents and discussions related to implementation plans, schedules, test results, risk responses, and other project documents and discussions that support the implementation and deployment of a solution. o Medicaid Management Information Solution - I assisted a State agency focused on their enrollment and eligibility system and the ACA and its impact on their Medical Assistance (MA) program. Another project I worked for this client was to support their transition from a monolithic system to a modular MMIS solution. In this project I supported the creation of various project plans to guide stakeholders during the project life-cycle.o Integrated Eligibility Solution - I assisted a State agency with project management and data analysis. I worked very closely with the systems integrator and stakeholders to make sure that Project Management Office function and other related tasks were transparent and operational. In addition to PMO tasks, I was responsible for various work-streams, such as, managing their customer satisfaction survey to provide monthly data analysis, generate project plan reports, and perform analysis for project timelines and deliverables. o Medicaid Management Information Solution - I was engaged on a project for another State agency, working with State leadership as well as the vendors to support their efforts to create vendor SLA and financial compliance Dashboards. My job is to ensure a quality solution was designed to match the client’s needs by utilizing the correct data and tracking the right metrics to provide actionable insights to State Leadership. o I held the role of financial analyst on a financial management project. My engagement team was tasked with helping the client manage and assess an ongoing project to outsource the financial reporting function to a third party administrator. o Customer Relationship Management Solution - I held the role of PMO and Communications Analyst during a Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation for a City Government agency.
