Rotor-Rooter is the largest provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services in North America. As the operations manager of the second largest franchisee in North America, I oversaw all aspects of operations including budget preparation, financial reporting and review, contract negotiations, recruitment as well as training and safety initiatives. I planned and prepared operating budgets including CAPEX budgets, directed human resources, call center functions, accounting and sales activities. Coordinated promotional marketing campaigns including search engine optimization as well as online review campaigns.Key Contributions:*Played integral role in growing the company’s revenues and franchises from $7 million with five franchises to $22.5 million and 20 franchises resulting in an increase in pretax net profits of 110%. Directed 225 employees both at a corporate level as well as the branch level.*Grew commercial business to 45% of revenues in a residentially driven market.*Spearheaded the acquisition of five additional franchises over a 3-year period that collectively produced revenues of $13 million.*Successfully established long-term customer relationships to drive revenue growth that exceeded industry standards by 25%.
