Now a Technical Lead and Line Manager in Data Engineering with recent experience in Agile squad work on the development of cloud data pipelines using GCP services and DBT Core. Previously led a squad using AWS services to develop data pipelines for data ingestion into a Data Lake and for other requirements for Data Science and Analytics purposes. The jobs are orchestrated using Airflow DAGs that are automatically generated by using an in-house tool to process the DBT manifest file.Line Manager for several data engineers since January 2021. Originally that was for those in the squad that I was the technicial lead for. Now it is for colleagues who are allocated to several different squads.Acting Line Manager for the whole Data Engineering Team from July to October 2022 inclusive. Currently the line manager for 5 colleagues.
