I am a uniquely qualified individual, in that I have had positions within Operations in a sales office, as an analyst in Finance, as a Planning Manager in Corporate Real Estate, as a Pricing Manager at HQ, as a manager of our commercial contract negotiations support staff and, currently, as a Contract Negotiations Manager for Xerox's public sector business (which most recently represented 46% of Xerox's U.S. revenue). Because of the knowledge, insight and experience that I have gained through these different roles, I can consider things from a macro-level vantage point, I see the forest; I'm not tied to a tree. That's a huge advantage in giving proper consideration to contract provisions in a negotiation. The variety of roles has also helped me become highly skilled in the use of the entire suite of MS Office products. And, I am a perfectionist when it comes to the written word. Trained new Contract Administrator on the advanced features in MS Word that are needed to effectively and efficiently prepare, review and process contract documents, both in their initial development and in the iterative process that is involved in customer negotiations.
