In my role as Research Project Manager for the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR) at the University of Pennsylvania, I manage a wide variety of research projects. Additionally, I will be work on the center's communications.

In my part-time role as Grants Manager & Researcher at the Center for Independent Living of South Jersey, I spearhead the identification and application of new funding opportunities. My responsibilities include submission of grant applications, evaluations, and impact reports. I am adept at fostering meaningful relationships with new and existing funders, an effort that has been instrumental in securing funds for the organization. Furthermore, my work extends to comprehensive data analysis and research, a notable example of which is my authorship of the 2023 New Jersey Disability Report, circulated among all Centers for Independent Living in NJ.

As the Research Manager at the Center for Social Innovation, UC Riverside, I lead a diverse team of researchers focusing on projects related to the Inland Empire region of California. My role encompasses the application of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to produce comprehensive reports for stakeholders, including government officials and philanthropic funders. My expertise in data visualization facilitates effective communication of our findings, enhancing our external affairs efforts. In this dynamic role, I continually adapt to new challenges, meet stringent deadlines, and apply my passion for community work to create impactful change.

As the Director of Communications & Business Development for the Pomona Chamber of Commerce, I took the lead in creating and deploying all communications for the Chamber. Along with the Board of Directors, I formulated and implemented a strategic economic development plan, and took a leadership role in an economic development task force, ensuring the continuous growth of our local economy. Furthermore, I successfully managed member acquisition and retention, applying effective strategies and data analysis to maintain a vibrant and engaged membership base. My tenure at the Chamber was marked by the synergistic fusion of communication, business development, and data-driven decision making to promote the chamber’s mission and its members.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California Riverside, I played a crucial role in facilitating discourse and deepening understanding of media and cultural studies. I led dynamic discussion sections, prepared class material and delivered engaging presentations and lectures. I exhibited my skills in public speaking and used strategic classroom management techniques to create a positive, conducive learning environment. This experience reinforced my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively, prepare engaging educational content, and manage a classroom effectively.

As a Public Policy Fellow with the City of Calimesa during, I leveraged my research skills to provide critical support to the City Manager and City Clerk. My role encompassed the broad spectrum of policy creation - from research to drafting. I had the privilege of co-authoring the city's new fire department policy and spearheading an ordinance regulating food trucks within city limits. Beyond policy, I extended my impact to community engagement, managing the city's social media platforms and updating the website to ensure transparency and communication. I designed promotional materials, captured key moments through event photography, and actively participated in action committees, such as Parks & Recreation. This experience underscored my ability to work effectively in a civic environment, contributing to diverse areas like policy, community relations, and digital communications.

As an Elections Assistant for the County of Riverside during the pivotal 2016 presidential election, I honed my skills in data management and customer service while working with highly sensitive voter information. I was responsible for meticulously entering data into the database, ensuring the utmost accuracy and confidentiality. My role also entailed assisting voters by resolving their concerns and questions, thereby facilitating a smooth and efficient voting process. In my role as Director of Operations & Marketing for Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, I honed a wide array of skills through comprehensive management of day-to-day operations. My responsibilities extended from monthly marketing strategies to overseeing the complete employee lifecycle, from interviews and hiring to training and performance management. I effectively planned and executed store events and fundraisers, while simultaneously managing our social media presence and advertising efforts. In an effort to streamline operations, I diligently managed data entry, inventory, and sales. My role also entailed making critical purchasing decisions, handling bank deposits, and maintaining accurate sales reports. This position greatly enhanced my operational management and marketing expertise in a fast-paced retail environment

As a Public Policy Intern at the National MS Society of Greater Delaware Valley, I was entrusted with tasks that had significant nationwide impact. I created an Excel template to streamline the process of contacting state and federal legislators, a resource that was later adopted nationally. A critical aspect of my role was my contribution to lobbying and advocacy efforts. Specifically, I assisted in the successful push for the MS Task Force Bill, which was subsequently passed by the New Jersey State Assembly.
