As a Project superintendent I had a subcontractor crew on the projects that where assigned to me. The main job was to make sure that the subcontractor built the animal deterrent fence around the Duke power substation to the standards and quality of Vanquish. Below is other responsibilities that we had. We maintained the company truck that was assigned to us. The need to have a driver license was a critical part of our jobs as it was a travel job doing commercial construction • We obtained purchase orders for the project • Called in 811 locates and entered them into builder trend • Scheduled private locates • Photographed locate marks and document with photos in builder trend • Reviewed the engineered drawings • Built a schedule for the project on builders trend • Call vendors to deliver dumpsters and portable toilets to the job site • Set up concrete deliveries • Set up gravel deliveries • Mobilize to job site take pictures of site before any work as done • Complete daily reports with pictures and upload them to builder trend • Set up temporary fencing and ground it before removing old fences • Use offset points to maintain location at corner• Mark out the new fence per the engineered drawings • Hold morning pre-job meetings every morning. • Supervise the equipment inspection every morning and upload the paperwork to builder trend • Make sure subcontractor has the proper safety equipment • Check subcontractor for the proper PPE • When concrete arrives check the quantity, psi, and slump • Make sure fence post holes are dug to the specification of the engineered drawings • Make sure crew sets the line post correctly • Check the gate pad lay out • All material deliveries where counted and confirmed against the BOL • Make sure all safety guidelines was followed • Once fence is completed and gravel spread and seed and straw is installed do a final inspection • Make a punch list • Make sure everything is completed to Vanquish Standards
