My day to day working experience has been focusing on cost driven projects that produce on time deliverables identifying any risks and making sure they are accounted for. Understanding steering committee directions and then transferring these clearly to our business partners as well as the IT team members. I’ve demonstrated throughout my career the ability to manage multiple projects, their resources and timelines, while keeping management, staff and business partners informed of progress, scope changes as well as risks that need to be addressed.My team management philosophy is simple: empower your team and everyone will succeed. My personal goal for a team is one that works closely together and clearly understands what is expected of them, with distributed responsibility/accountability. Having team members feeling empowered with open communications has always created a work environment where all team members have the opportunity to grow, develop and shine. These are all core to my leadership approach. I’ve heard over and over again from team members that they’ve never experienced a manager such as myself, which is a nice thing to hear; but it also produces a team that is dependable, productive and fun to work with.
