I am the leader of the Water/Wastewater Department for Stanley in Phoenix and Arizona. I will direct the activities of the engineers working in water and wastewater as well as help develop new business with new and existing customers.

I am a consultant to the water and wastewater industry. I am interested in providing valuable service to public and private clients in planning, compliance, facility modifications/improvements, process troubleshooting, and operator training.

I am a Senior Project Manager, part of Environment & Infrastructure - Americas. I am responsible for developing client relationships and marketing AMEC's services in water and wastewater services to municipal, governmental, and industrial clients. As a senior project manager, I also serve in group leadership, and in developing team skills in water and wastewater engineering.

For CD&E, I worked under contract providing project management support to a Federal programs Project Manager at Western Area Power Administration (WAPA, a power marketing division of the Dept. of Energy). I monitored progress and measured performance utilizing earned-value management software (EVMS) on a $90 million electrical transmission system upgrade/improvements project linking Western with Palo-Verde Hub project (Salt River Project). The project also upgrades Western's transmission system south of Phoenix, and provides opportunities for alternative energy sources to connect and transmit power to market. Components of the project include upgrades/rebuilding of two 230-kV substations, and over 30 miles of new 230-kV transmission lines.

As the Director of the Southwest Region, I managed the office, secured clients and work assigments, hired and developed a professional staff of engineers and technicians. I worked with clients to determine capital improvement needs, and assisted them in securing funding for phased capital programs. I managed my team in the completion of design and construction projects.

As an Associate, I was part of the senior mangement team for the Southwest region. I participated in the development of marketing strategies and business goals. I led marketing and sales efforts, securing work with new clients as well as expanding relationships with existing clients. I directed a group of engineers and technicians in the completion of water and wastewater facility modifcations and improvements, utility master planning and modelling projects.

At RFS, I was the manager of the municipal services group, leading a team of engineers and technicians in providing consulting services to municipalities in NH, VT, ME, CT and MA. We provided compliance, planning, design and construction services in water, wastewater, solid waste, stormwater and site work. Supervised design and construction services for two surface water treatment facilities (4 mgd and 6 mgd capacity).

I provided civil engineering consulting services to municipal and industrial clients. The company provided environmental and compliance services to industries in northern New England, and my group provided expanded services in upgrading site utilities, and facility improvements in wastewater treatment and residuals processing and disposal. Also performed feasibility studies for the selection and implementation of groundwater treatment systems and capping designs at hazardous waste sites and landfills. I also performed hands-on design, construction and start-up of a plutonium contamination sorting system on Johnston Atoll for the Defense Nuclear Agency.

At CDM, I managed projects and served as an assistant group manager, supervising a team of 5 engineers in completing engineering assignments with municipal clients in NJ/PA. Projects included wastewater management and section 201 wastewater facility plans, design and construction services at municipal wastewater treatment plants, water distribution system modeling, planning, and utility system upgrades.

At M&E, I worked as a project engineer on several complex design projects including two wastewater pumpings stations (10 mgd and 13 mgd in capacity), conversion of a 25 mgd WWTP to nitrification and advanced secondary treatment, and the design to rehabilitate a sanitary trunk sewer to mitigate excessive I/I.

Starting with Kupper out of college in 1980, I learned the basics of design and construction services on behalf of municipal clients. I had the opportunity to learn to write technical specifications and bid documents, prepare engineering plans for the construction of sanitary interceptors, metering stations, regional pumping stations (4 mgd and 6 mgd in capacity), elevated water storage tanks, water mains, and potable water well sites. I also learned the art of water distribution system modeling, and planning of water system improvements and wastewater system improvements to provide a basis for 10-year capital improvement plans.
