Eight previous years spent as Chief Financial Officer of Pepper Dining Inc., a 103 unit Chili's Grill and Bar franchise with $265 in revenue and over 6,000 employees. Private equity group Olympus Partners established Pepper Dining, Inc. in 2007 by purchasing 93 Chili’s Restaurants from Brinker International. As the Chief Financial Officer of the company partnered with CEO and Private Equity board to develop and execute company’s business strategy. Created all financial reporting for both Equity Ownership and field personnel including determining key performance indicators and creating bonus programs to support company strategy. Provided budgeting and forecasting as well as cash planning. Oversaw the facilities department with a cap ex budget ranging from $4MM to $10MM annually. Maintained relationships with landlords and was responsible for site selection and lease management. Purchased health and welfare benefits, workers compensation and general and liability insurance.
