Managing a portfolio of FNB clients within the R60 – R150 Million turnover sector ( Although some clients exceed a Billion ). The asset book is currently in excess of R120 000 000 and still growing with around 60 relationships currently. The role also entails credit management and risk associated to the bank. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: The products available for the clients are more on the specialised finance side. I am directly exposed to the credit decision for Debtor finance, trade finance as well as leverage finance to name a few. In addition to the above, the relationship aspect plays a pivotal role in keeping the clients happy and maintaining the relationship. I pride myself on building strong business relationships with my customers. Management of people, such us my analyst to ensure optimum results and low turnaround times. Ensuring that the asset and liability growth on the book is sustainable with the acquisition of new business taken over from the various other banks. Ensuring credit facilities are monitored and review on regular basis in terms of the relevant risk identified from inception of the specific facility.  Being vigilant in terms of the anti money laundering act reducing the risk of losses to the company and reporting any suspicions to the relevant AML department. Ensuring people skills remain at high levels given that the role is specifically dependant on relying on various parts of the business run by different departments – Example – Credit, Marketing, Sales, Human resources.
