The role involves the following:• Working on nil stocks going to various decks at plant.• Keeping track of warehouse stock by completing daily counts.• Disbursing and voiding labels.• Route selection and raising manuals on Material Flow.• Updating pick locations on Material Flow and CMMS.• Reporting Min and Nil stock to the smart office.• Dealing with part requests from plant and dealing with panic parts.• Dealing with on hold stock and carrying out investigations.• Dealing with count sheets from plant by working out and comparing the figures and controlling stock between the two sites.• Working on slot moves to make the warehouse layout more efficient for picking.• Running the metrics for site which include Parts in wrong location, pallets in pending for longer than 24hrs and overflow pallets.• Audit checks of 12 random parts per shift so that the whole warehouse can be counted within 2 weeks so we also keep on top of stock levels.• At the end of every shift entering all figures into the scorecard which is a spreadsheet that is saved on excel to present figures to higher management.• I am also the direct contact for the SMART office at plant incase of any issues with stock or they need anything sending over to them urgently.
