Worked at AOL-Germany in Hamburg for AOL Inc in the US.

I specialised in IT Infrastructure Node Room moves, moving Stratacom & Nortel Passport Frame Relay switches, Cisco Routers, Bay routers, Multiplexors, PTT leased-lines and coordinated the whole move projects, interfacing between AUCS management, end-customers and PTTs. I worked to Prince2 methods, producing highlight reports, updating the business case. Projects were in many German cities and also in Amsterdam, Stockholm, London.

Based in Barclays House, Poole, Southern England, Progressed through WAN 2nd line support of Global X25 WWN (World Wide Network) and MPRN (Multi-Protocol Router Network based on Bay, Cisco and Telebit routers) to Team Leading the same team, then onto support projects Project Management. During these years I also gained the Barclays Quality Award of the Year (95/96) for system development , implementation, support and staff training of remote access systems.

Started a Telecoms apprenticeship in London, after 2 years I moved to Bournemouth where I completed the final year of my apprenticeship. I then worked as a Telecoms Technician on Telex and Datacoms Implementation (modems, multiplexors, BERT testing modem connections, implementing cabling systems on large projects at Chase manhatten and Barclays banks).
