I was part of a large Finance team within the UK Central Office, assisting colleagues as required and completing various specific tasks:Banking – BACS GBP & EUR payments, statement & ledger reconciliations, cash allocation, nominal & cash journals, cash funding forecasting, currency reporting.Financial reporting – Cashbook, Sales Analysis, Sales Debtors, Intercompany reconciliations, Group sites consolidation, period-end.Sales Ledger Support – Data analysis, invoicing, reporting.

Sales Ledger – Credit Control for all accounts, chasing debts and dealing with customers to resolve invoice queries.Contract Sales – Credit Control for large M&E contracts, working with the Commercial team to confirm accurate payment notices were received as per schedules, raising the invoices for the applications and retentions, chasing clients to make payments on time.Purchase and Subcontract – Working with our central processing office to ensure accuracy of information, liaising with Project Managers and Procurement to clear any invoice queries, ensuring suppliers and subcontractors were paid promptly.Reconciliation & Reporting – Reconciling the bank accounts for all incoming and outgoing transactions, producing forecasts for payments and receipts to ensure cashflow targets and budgets were achieved.
