Works closely with the President / CEO to oversee and manage all chamber initiatives. Responsible for overall administration of chamber membership. Responsible for planning and executing chamber programs and special events. Cultivating investor relationships, and furthering existing relations with members and top investors. Responsibilities and Duties• Works closely with the President / CEO to carry out priorities and organizational direction adopted by the Board of Directors. Support and advance the mission of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce• Responsible for new member recruitment, membership retention, and overall administration and maintenance of membership recordkeeping.• Plan and execute quarterly member orientation programs for new members and those in need of refresher program.• Act as staff liaison of Ambassadors, Membership Committee and Golf Committees. Plan, schedule and manage all events emanating from these committees including ribbon cutting, groundbreaking, grand opening, and anniversary ceremonies for members, the annual Golf Classic, and the Membership Appreciation Lunch.• Act as staff liaison for the Emerging Business Leaders. Plan quarterly events with themes and guest speakers. Plan and execute the Chamber mentor program.• Work with the Government Affairs Committee to plan annual and semi-annual events including Henry County Day at the Capitol, Legislative Reception, and Candidate Forums during election years.• Assist the President / CEO with scheduling small business focused programming for the Small Business Resource Center.• Develop and update membership related documents to create packages for potential members to be distributed both physically and digitally.• Timely production of monthly membership report and other committee reports for the President, Executive Committee and Board of Directors to monitor membership levels and advancement of the Chamber’s vision. • Attend and represent the Chamber President / CEO at monthly lunch and Business After Hours functions when necessary.• Attend and assist where needed with all other Chamber events and activities to the extent possible, including but not limited to AV support, and webinar hosting.• Contact all members with email invitations to attend and sponsor events.• Act as the main contact at the Chamber for any issues that arise when the President / CEO is not available.• Assist with any and all other Chamber functions and duties as required or as directed by the President / CEO.
