Responsible for developing and managing corporate relations with sponsors and supporters of SCI BC by generating funding to allow us to provide services to help people with spinal cord injuries adjust, adapt and thrive after their life-changing injuries. I'm also very involved with special fundraising and Peer events and part of the communications team that is responsible for quarterly publication The Spin.

At National Importers I headed up our Marketing Dept. and was responsible for 7 direct reports. We were responsible for developing and delivering brand plans and trade and consumer promotional budgets for the 50+ specialty food brands (Twinings Tea, Baby Mum-Mums, A Taste of Thai, Nando's, Tony Romas, etc) sold to all classes of trade in Canada and the U.S..

Responsible for managing the 12 employees in our Category Management Dept. Our team negotiated inside revenues of +$25 million annually and developed weekly flyers, consumer promotions, planograms, and managed category profitability.

Reporting to V.P. Marketing/Advertising Greg Harmeson directed the development and implementation of store level marketing plans and consumer promotions for 160+ stores in Western Canada.As a member of our Board of Management, contributed to the development of annual marketing budgets and national marketing strategies and promotions.

Responsible for hiring trainers and co-ordinators and for rollout of POS/MMS systems in Shoppers stores. This included introduction of point-of-sale scanning, management reports, purchasing and perpetual inventory/dedicated distribution centre.
