I am retired but not really. I retired from the University of New Mexico after spending 5 years as an accountant and 10 as a financial aid officer. I am now doing what I enjoy doing - building my own very small bookkeeping and tax practice, doing some portrait and event photography, and trying to make a difference in this world by writing informative blogs that cover meaningful subjects. I am working now because I want to, not because I have to, so I can afford to offer below market rates for monthly and quarterly bookkeeping. I intend to keep my practice small so I can give exceptional service while having time to pursue my other passions. Starting next January I will offer a tax preparation service at very reasonable rates.I am limiting my photography efforts to portraits, some events, and for travel blogs.For the past ten years I have been one of the University of New Mexico Sports photographers, have photographed numerous weddings and events, as well as many senior and family portraits.
