I recently opened an office in Colorado, where I bring 30+ years of property adjusting experience. I have handled a wide variety of wind, hail, water, and fire type losses. I am considered an expert with Xactimate estimating system, and is also familiar with Symbility. I have been called upon several times to act as an appraiser/umpire which involves conflict resolution between insurance companies and their clients.My experience also includes handling several catastrophe claims across the country. A few examples are as follows: San Diego wildfires of 2003, Hurricanes Isabel, Katrina, Rita, Ike, Super Storm Sandy, and Irma. In recent years, I have been asked to be a costing expert or consultant on several cases involving bad faith suits, disputed appraisal awards, and disputed property claims. This work involves detailed forensic style analysis of public adjuster and contractor estimates, investigation, preparing reports, and at times having to testify in court. I have been qualified by Federal Judge William Martinez, Federal Judge Raymond Moore, and Jefferson County CO District Court Judge Laura Tighe as an expert in cost estimating.
