The overall objective of this role is to manage electrical capital projects for Rio Tinto – Weipa. Engineering project lead, within the site services business unit. My responsibilities include:• Lead project team through feasibility and implementation studies (either engaging consultants or in house delivery);• Liaise with consultants to ensure specific project milestones are met, and if necessary drive appropriate mitigating measures;• Tender preparation, evaluation and contract negotiation;• Construction management and co-ordination;• Contract and schedule management;• Technical compliance management.

Electrification Connect: The overall objective of this role was to manage the construction phase and related infrastructure build of the project, covering all integration aspects through to receiving power from the electricity transmission network to electrify the hub connections.My responsibilities / functions included -• Tender preparation, evaluation and contract negotiation;• Office and field based;• Construction management and co-ordination;• Contract and schedule management;• Technical compliance management; • EH&S leadership.

The overall objective of this role was to support the overall program of works in the project portfolio to meet Powerlink’s Operational and Strategic objectives. The overall objective of this role was to scope project requirements, execute secondary systems engineering, and perform system FAT tests and onsite commissioning. My responsibilities / functions included:• Detailed system engineering, integration and commissioning of plant control and scada systems, for a variety of system solution ranging from Static Var Compensators, to Thyristor controlled switched and fixed series capacitor banks worldwide;• Co-ordination of quality assurance for involved projects; and• Customer training on installed base.
