Lead architect and data engineer for Advancing Analytic's first Azure Fabric Lakehouse accelerator Fabric8. By adopting the Hydr8 accelerator framework Advancing Analytics uses with clients, I was responsible for the design and implementation of the Azure Fabric version of the metadata driven engine. Using abstraction, inversion of control and other well known design principals I was able to port Advancing Analytics core intellectual property to Microsoft Azure's flagship data platform.Resulting in a single code base that runs performantly on either Databricks or Azure Fabric.
