Leading the redevelopment of the NB digital platform. Highlights include:- Project managing the redevelopment of the dashboard- Developing a Typescript Node API to centralise business logic- Helping create the Angular PWA to present the user data- Creating a CI/CD pipeline for automated testing and deployments- Centralising user and content data from different parts of the business into one- Creating user and content admin system using ASP.NET Core MVC

Developing the initial version of the operations section of the user admin and migrating internal services. Highlights include:- Gathering use cases and converting them into development tasks- Standardising the user authorisation structure to decouple it from business roles- Leading a small team to get the operations section of the site built - Migrating legacy services to work with the new data structure

Developing and maintaining websites in .NET MVC and maintaining existing websites in .NET WebForms and Classic ASP. Highlights include: - Developing MrCMS, described in more depth later, which is used to power dozens of sites, from small brochure sites to ecommerce stores turning over millions of pounds a year - Leading and develop a small team to use best practices and consistent structure of applications to allow any member of the team to be able to pick up a project- Mentoring the team of 4 developers, teaching various aspects of software development and decision making to help them progress to more self-sufficient developers- Implementing caching and data access optimisation for larger sites to reduce page load speed and reduce server usage, using NHibernate- Developing and maintaining multi-warehouse online stores, extending the existing NopCommerce eCommerce platform- Quoting and estimating on projects in collaboration with the design and project management team for work undertaken both by me and by other members of the development team

Developing and maintaining software for clients, with legacy applications in Delphi, and new development in C# and with .NET 3.5 and 4. Highlights include: - Introducing new development techniques/methodologies to the company (i.e. DI/IoC, TDD, BDD, object mocking)- Designing and implementing a modular order loading system for mass loading orders from different sources into different systems- Liaising with clients, throughout the lifecycle of a project- Coordinating projects and assigning work to developers based on their strengths- Designing and implementing a multi-purpose order processing system- Creating administration and management systems for clients in diverse fields
