Lead and supported effective and successful implementation of RMS’s Community Engagement Policy by leading and training project managers. Achieved by addressing training functions and driving several ‘case studies’ by example.Supported the introduction of RMS’s 'Alliancing' policy by involvement and example with an award-winning outcome. 'Alliancing' led to culture change towards greater teamwork, acceptance of diverse roles and innovation. Supported and lead several major RMS environmental policy developments by active contribution to the policy development team, then by inducting project teams and demonstrating in the workplace.Supported internalization into RMS of several NSW environmental legislative changes in past decade through training and inducting internal and external stakeholders. Provided in-depth support to contractors who often worked with scant resources leading to major improvements in documentation and on-ground environmental outcomes.Promoted environmental sustainability principles within the road maintenance teams overseen, resulting in real changes in practices. Reliance on chemical treatment of roadside weeds has changed to an integrated program of management.Achievements recognized on three occasions by being nominated or winning RMS recognition awards.
