• Equipment & Facility: - Led Mana in sourcing production equipment infrastructure.- Developed new equipment to meet business needs and build capacity. Equipment includes Blending, Batching, Powder Pressing, Lipstick Molding, Hot-pour, Vial, Bottles Liquid, Tubes Filling, Compact Assemblies, Packaging & Labeling - Successfully negotiated equipment pricing. Cost savings up to 70% in price reduction on machinery. This translated to savings of over 1MM per year in cost savings- Customized equipment to achieve competitive manufacturing costs- Conducted FATs, SATs and organized/supervised installation of new equipment- Configured production floor layout as needs evolved for all manufacturing equipment, focused on processes/manufacturing strategies, flow and minimize WIP• Created the Lipstick Production Department, capable of producing over 64.8 million sticks annually- Introduced silicone molding to Mana for superior aesthetics. New role since 2017: Focusing on Commercialization of products - advising Customers, Vendors and Suppliers on streamlining New Product Launches, as well as improvements on existing projects.Daily role in additional to Commercialization: Oversee, problem-solve, trouble shoot daily Manufacturing Operations (Machinery, People & Processes). Responsible and involved in Manufacturing/Production/Engineering aspects of Mana's Operation. Responsibilities includes:1. Supervises Industrial Engineers in all daily tasks, including short term and long term projects. Prioritizes each and every IE on projects. 2. Meets with GM on all on going issues (future, past, present) to come up with solutions and discuss the approach in implementation.3. Supports various departments in efficiency and process-improvement related issues: i.e. production/process management; document & software design/development (JDE); process flows, product/material flow, etc. 4. Interacts with QA, Packaging, Labs, PD and Engineering Departments to ensure a smooth and feasible operations. Trains Industrial Engineers in anticipating possible issues that prevent or hinder production from achieving optimal throughput.5. Supervises and leads IE Team in creating procedures and setting standards for production/assembly lines. Ensures IE Team verifies and evaluates existing standards; making sure database is up to date.6. Analyzes post production Data Entries with IE Team. Targets problematic areas, identifies and evaluates production inefficiencies. Formulates feasible solutions and creates ways to improve productivity while maintaining high throughput. 7. Approves verification and authentications on new production output rates and production line structures for filing and documentation. 8. Supports Engineering department in Facility planning and layout, Continuous Process and Methods Improvements (time studies, flow analysis etc.)
