Worked out of the Disaster Recovery Centers in Smithfield, Goldsboro, and Fayetteville helping disaster survivors navigate FEMA programs. Conducted insurance agency outreach in North Carolina in response to Hurricane Matthew, speaking on behalf of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).Princeville Task Force Lead:Performed as the task force lead for the town Princeville, which was affected by Hurricane Matthew.Facilitated meetings with attendees from multiple programs within FEMA and the State of North Carolina to address needs and gaps in Princeville, which included crisis counseling, housing needs, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and others.
