Presently the manager of Capital Spares and Capital.Projects in both the Honeywell Baton Rouge and Geismar facilities. Specifying, ordering, monitoring fabrication and inspecting upon arrival all mechanical equipment. Managing projects requiring engineering and design as well as construction, fabrication then installation and construction. Having been fortunate to work for years in the chemical, petroleum refining, gas transmission pipelines and polymer industries have given me many wonderful and valuable experiences. Present experiences include managing and designing systems including waste water, bulk materials, polymer pellets, air, steam, acids, caustic, hazardous materials, many types of chemicals, crude oil storage and refining, gas pipelines with pig launchers and metering stations, brine production and many others. This consists of both new construction and retrofit, most of which included producing the materials specifications, materials ordering, writing of the labor contracts, development of departmental pipe support standard details and pipe specifications, and performing piping stress analysis. Always followed the construction as the engineering contact. Have successfully managed projects under schedule and under budget from $5 million to $150 million for clients such as Chevron, Rhodia, and Dow. Was relocated for one year to a facility where modular fabrication excelled to learn their techniques. With this new knowledge I produced a booklet of instructions and parameters of how this construction approach could be used in various industries. This booklet was distributed throughout Jacobs. A second task was to instruct their staff on Jacobs procedures and how projects are managed.
