Gary Thomas is managing partner and co-founder of HealthShare360, a firm dedicated to improving provider outcomes and financial performance by delivering strategies and tools to grow market share, wallet share, and revenue share. Gary has more than 25 years of senior executive experience in health care. Prior to co-founding HealthShare360, Mr. Thomas was President of Aetna’s Joint Venture Markets, directly responsible for transforming Aetna's local healthcare delivery model from adversarial high cost fee-for-service relationships to networks of collaborative strategic joint venture partnerships focused on delivering high-quality and affordable healthcare to all populations.Gary joined Aetna in 1999 and served in several important leadership and P/L roles, including health care delivery, medical economics and finance. He is the former Chief Operating Officer of Aetna’s Accountable Care Solutions (ACS), where he had direct responsibility for ACS strategy and operations. During his tenure, ACS grew by more than 950,000 members and $3.2 billion in annual revenue. Gary served as President for Aetna’s Medicare Division. This line of business served more than 1.1 million customers and produced $6.1 billion in annual revenues.
