With over 25 years of engineering experience, I began my career at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Sydney and subsequently worked at high end video post-production facilities in both Melbourne and London.After moving to Los Angeles and furthering my career as a video engineer at several LA based post production facilities, I designed and built Method Studios, which started life as a commercial visual effects boutique.For the past decade, I held the VP of Engineering position at EFILM Hollywood (a Deluxe company). During my tenure there, I was responsible for managing the engineering department as well as providing unique and innovative technologies that helped the company finish an average of forty A-List feature films per year. This included real time color accurate viewing and manipulation of image data from remote locations for DI, VFX and trailer sessions.I then moved on to co form Blendo inc, my own media engineering consulting company before securing a position at ILM / LucasfilmI am currently Director of Physical and Post Production Technology at Industrial Light & Magic / Lucasfilm. I am proud to be part of the engineering team responsible for media systems and image post production spanning visual effects for ILM as well as feature film and television production.
