Gary received the top award as the No. 1 Facility Manager on the Nestle Global account for 2020. The award by ISS and Nestle as a combined appreciation, this was mainly do to Gary's role in Nestle's drive for Zero Waste to Landfill by 2020. Over a 4 year period, Gary reduced the sites waste to landfill from 800 tones per year to 1.2 tones for 2020 and year to date 2021 only 22kg for the whole factory. Gary is employed as Regional Facilities Manager for – Nestle Queensland, working initially for 4 years with CBRE Global Corporate Services and has transitioned over to ISS Facility Services, as ISS won the rights to manage Nestle Facilities as of 1st January 2016.With over 20 years of experience within the Facilities management and project management, Gary’s role is focused upon leading and supporting the strategy of Facility Management Services on behalf of his client Nestle. His role is responsible to ensure that all facilities management services with regards to planned, reactive tendering, budgeting and compliance are adhered to within the Nestle Queensland account. Gary’s experience in management extends to working both in Facilities Management and Project Management, Prior to joining CBRE; he was Facilities Manager at Sunshine Coast Council responsible for the Management and Service Delivery over 1400 properties throughout the Sunshine coast region. Prior to this role Gary managed 3 of the largest Private Internationals Schools in Thailand with over 2,500 students and 600 staff present at each facility, with strict adherence to International Codes and Standards, Gary also worked for SGS Thailand (18 month contract) conducting a condition survey for Caltex’s 250 service station throughout Thailand
